AHMEDABAD, GUJARAT | 05th AUGUST 2026 | Renowned spiritual leader Morari Bapu has expressed his condolences over the loss of lives caused by heavy rainfall in Gujarat and Kerala and has announced financial assistance for the affected families.
Several parts of the country have witnessed heavy rainfall in recent weeks. In Gujarat, cyclonic conditions and persistent rainfall have resulted in flooding in several districts. Five people lost their lives in rain-related incidents in Navsari and other parts of the state.
As part of Hanumant Samvedana, Morari Bapu has dedicated financial assistance of Rs. 15,000 to each bereaved family, amounting to a total of Rs. 75,000. The assistance has been delivered through Ramkatha listeners in Navsari and other parts of Gujarat.
In Kerala, heavy rainfall has claimed the lives of 15 people, while several others remain missing. Expressing his sympathies to the bereaved families, Morari Bapu has contributed Rs. 2,25,000 to the Kerala Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. The contribution has been sent through a Ramkatha listener in Mumbai.
Earlier, Morari Bapu announced financial assistance for the families of those who lost their lives due to rain-related incidents in Assam, Jammu and Kashmir, and Sikkim.
Morari Bapu has offered prayers to Lord Hanuman for eternal peace of the departed souls and for strength to the bereaved families to bear the loss.
