AHMEDABAD, GUJARAT | 04th NOVEMBER 2026 | In recognition of the dedication and tireless efforts of Ahmedabad’s traffic police, particularly during the Navratri festival, Kailash Kabra, Founder and Managing Director of KK Jewels Limited, has contributed Rs. 51 lakh to the Ahmedabad Traffic Trust towards the welfare of traffic personnel.
During Navratri, when thousands of people participate in garba celebrations, traffic police personnel work long hours, managing the heavy flow of vehicles and people throughout the night and often well into the early hours of the morning. Their efforts to ensure that people can celebrate safely and move around the city smoothly left a big impression on Kabra.
“What touched me deeply was seeing the traffic police personnel work tirelessly throughout Navratri. While the city was celebrating, they were out on the roads, standing for hours, managing traffic and ensuring everyone’s safety. Watching their dedication was truly moving. I felt that we should do something for the people who work so selflessly for our city. This contribution is a small gesture of gratitude and an effort to support their welfare and wellbeing,” said Kabra.
He also acknowledged the support extended by the police to KK Jewels over the years, noting that they have always been helpful and supportive of the company’s activities. The contribution, he said, was also an expression of his appreciation for their continued support and service to the city.
Through this gesture, Kabra hopes to recognise the people who work behind the scenes to keep Ahmedabad moving, particularly during major celebrations and public events.
KK Jewels is engaged in jewellery retail business and offers a diverse collection of gold, diamond and silver ornaments. It operates seven showrooms in Ahmedabad and is expanding its presence with a showroom in Surat shortly.
