HCF Hospital is a NABH-accredited healthcare institution known for providing quality medical care and rehabilitation services, particularly for children with birth defects, at highly subsidized rates. The addition of the Ophthalmology Department further expands the hospital’s ability to deliver specialized healthcare services to the community.
The department offers a comprehensive range of eye care services, including adult cataract surgery, paediatric cataract treatment, glaucoma management, retina services, diabetic retinopathy care, oculoplasty procedures, retinopathy of prematurity treatment, and corneal grafting. Our unique project of identification to complete treatment of children suffering from Retinopathy of Prematurity covers thousands of premature babies admitted to over 100 NISCU across districts of Ahmedabad, Mehsana, Dholka, Surat, Kutchh preventing blindness to thousands of babies.
The new facility is expected to significantly improve access to specialized eye care for residents of Ahmedabad and neighbouring districts by providing advanced diagnostic, medical, and surgical services under one roof. This will reduce the need for patients to travel to distant tertiary care centres, enabling earlier diagnosis, timely intervention, and improved treatment outcomes.
Through initiatives such as this, HDBFS continues to invest in sustainable community development and healthcare infrastructure, contributing towards improved health outcomes and enhanced quality of life for underserved populations.
