Thermax Launches Thermax-i series, a Range of Intelligent Boilers and Heaters, at Boiler India 2026

Unveils UltraPac-i, an intelligent biomass-fired boiler, as the first product in the series

NAVI MUMBAI | 08th OCTOBER 2026 | Thermax, a trusted partner in energy transition and a leading provider of energy and environment solutions, today announced the launch of Thermax-i series, a new range of intelligent boilers and heaters at Boiler India 2026. The series enables heating equipment to continuously optimise performance in response to changing operating conditions.

The first product in the series, UltraPac-i, is an intelligent biomass-fired boiler that anticipates variations in fuel characteristics, ambient conditions, process demand and automatically takes corrective action in real time to improve boiler efficiency, shifting from a reactive to a proactive approach.

A global industry-first innovation, UltraPac-i is powered by EDGE Control, Thermax’s proprietary physics-enhanced, data-driven control technology. Pilot installations have demonstrated fuel savings of up to 10%, offering industries the potential to reduce operating costs and associated carbon emissions.

UltraPac-i boiler will be on display at the Thermax booth throughout the exhibition, being held from October 8–10 at the CIDCO Exhibition Centre, Navi Mumbai.

EDGE Control can also be offered as a retrofit solution for suitable existing boilers and other equipment, enabling customers to bring intelligent control and optimisation to their current assets without replacing the equipment.

“For six decades, Thermax has worked to improve how industries generate and use heat. Our intelligent series of boilers represents the next evolution of that journey — combining our understanding of combustion and boilers with advanced analytics and

intelligent control. The ability of a boiler to anticipate changing conditions and optimise itself can create significant value, particularly with fuels such as biomass. It is a

revolutionary breakthrough and an exciting step forward for Thermax and our customers. We are starting Thermax-i series with boilers and heaters and will progressively extend these intelligent capabilities across our wider portfolio,” said Ashish Bhandari, Managing Director & CEO, Thermax Limited.
