Ahmedabad 12 November 2024: Shree Agiyaras Udhyapan and Tulsi Vivah Utsav were celebrated at Shree Ram Ramdevji Mandir in Raisan village, near Nana Chiloda, Ahmedabad. The main event, the marriage of Tulsiji with Sri Shaligramji (Thakorji), took place on November 12.
As a part of the event, several rituals and celebrations were held. On November 6, the consecration of Shree Ganesha took place, followed by the Mela, Kalash, Bandoli, and Agiyaras Udhyapan Havan and Katha held on November 10. On November 11, a Bhajan Sandhya was organized, featuring performances by renowned artists Rupji Luhar, Sunil Kumawat, and Badridasji Vaishnav. The evening of devotional music brought joy to all the devotees present
The main ceremony on November 12 included the welcome of Shree Shaligramji (Thakorji), followed by the marriage and Panigrahan sanskar of Shree Shaligramji (Thakorji) and Tulsiji. This grand event was organized by Shri Chhaganlal Luhar, Ganeshji Purbia, Rupsinhji Rajput and the entire organizing team.
