SFA Championships 2024 Ahmedabad: Nalanda Vidyalaya’s Dhanvi Bodiwala and Krishna Chandwani of Jamnabai at fastest athletes in u-16 category

Ahmedabad 24 November 2024: Dhanvi Bodiwala of Nalanda Vidyalaya and Krishna Chandwani of Jamnabai Narsee School Gift City were crowned the fastest athletes in the u-16 girls and boys athletics competition winning their respective 100m races in the SFA Championships at the IIT Gandhinagar track on Sunday.

Ruchi Bhatt of Divine Life International school and Stuti Patel of St Xavier High School claimed the silver and bronze medals in the girls 100m final while Vivek Meniya of Apolo International and Dharamveer Choudhari of School of Achiever finished second and third respectively in the boys final.

Sports For All (SFA) is committed to professionalising, organising, and monetising grassroots sports, aiming to foster a culture that values and invests in sports nationwide. The championships this year will run until November 26, roping in participants from across Ahmedabad in a hunt for the best talents. This year, more than 14,000 athletes, aged 3 to 18, from 387 schools are participating in the event.

In the other events, Mount Carmel High School won the girls u-14 basketball gold with Anand Niketan School bagging the silver medal.

The SFA Championships 2024 will bring an exciting lineup of competitions to Ahmedabad. The event will feature a range of sports, including athletics, badminton, football, chess, kabaddi, karate, swimming, kho kho, basketball, table tennis, volleyball and yogasana.
