Ahmedabad 09th January 2025: A spiritually uplifting and joyous 7-day pilgrimage to Shri SammedShikharji, one of the holiest pilgrimage sites for Jains, has been successfully completed. The initiative was organised by Ahmedabad’s Jain Cultural Group, which has been serving the community for 44 years.
Led by Jain Cultural Group Chairman Rakesh R. Shah, President Riteshbhai, General Secretary Jigneshbhai, and with the inspiring guidance of the organisation’s members, 432 pilgrims participated in this sacred journey in Giridih district of Jharkhand.
The pilgrimage included visits to several sacred sites, such as Shri Pavapuri, Kshatriya Kund, Lachhwad, Kundalpur, Rajgir and Rijuwalika. At these revered Jain temples, pilgrims engaged in worship and darshan, experiencing profound moments of spiritual fulfilment and inner peace.
The Jain Cultural Group also announced that it would host the 42nd community wedding celebration on February 23. This grand and sacred event will provide a platform for couples to unite in matrimony amidst blessings from the community. The group extends a heartfelt invitation to all to join in and offer their blessings to the couples.
