Gujarat, Ahmedabad 13 March 2025: The Pathway to Peace Seminar and commemorated the Dandi Yatra, celebrating the spirit of peace and non-violence.
Ahmedabad- The India- USA Inter Country Committee (ICC), in collaboration with Rotary International Districts successfully organized the dandi yatra.
The event commenced with a symbolic Dandi Yatra tribute at Sabarmati Ashram, highlighting Mahatma Gandhi’s ideals and their relevance today. Participants engaged in discussions on non-violent conflict resolution and global peace efforts.
Following this, the Pathway to Peace Seminar at Radisson Blu, Ahmedabad, brought together esteemed Rotarians, peace activists, and scholars. The event featured thought-provoking addresses by DG Rtn. Mohan Parashar, PDG Dr. J.P. Vyas, Dr. Samuel Lee Hancock, DG Rtn. Tushar Shah, and PDG Rtn. Deepak Talwar, emphasizing international collaboration for peacebuilding.
Eminent speakers Prof. Prem Anand Mishra and Prof. Hemant Shah provided deep insights into socio-political peace strategies. A panel discussion on Peace Building & Conflict Resolution—moderated by Rtn. Vijay Kewalramani—featured Rotary Peace Scholars and experts, offering diverse perspectives on sustaining peace in times of turmoil.
The seminar successfully fostered dialogue, networking, and collaboration among leaders committed to global harmony. The event concluded with a networking reception and dinner, reinforcing the Rotary mission of peace and service.
