Further, Meesho has unveiled several initiatives aimed at improving customer experience. The company has announced an initiative to process customer refunds instantly after the item is picked up. On an average, the majority of users now receive their refunds in just 5 minutes. This process is supported by various payment options such as Meesho Balance, UPI, and IMPS bank transfers, ensuring that customers receive their refunds promptly.
In its continued efforts to enhance customer experience, Meesho has also introduced additional features like ‘Doorstep Exchange’, an in-app feature called “Meesho Balance” and streamlined shipping procedure by incorporating ‘Address Solutions’, which integrates the ‘Use My Location’ feature, powered by reverse geocoding, to accurately pinpoint locations even with incomplete addresses. Doorstep Exchange enables delivery executives to complete an exchange in a single visit, so customers receive their replacement product immediately while returning the old one. Meesho Balance is an in-app wallet offering instant refunds without requiring bank details, which can be used for future shopping needs.
