A Groundnut Revival: How Tag Soil Helth Saved Jaga Bhai’s Farm in Gujarat

Gujarat 17 October 2024: Gujarat, India’s leading groundnut producer, contributes over 46% of the nation’s total yield annually. The sandy loam soils of Saurashtra and Kutch, combined with the region’s hot, dry climate and annual rainfall of 300-400 mm, make it ideal for groundnut cultivation. However, for Jaga Bhai, a farmer from Shaktinagar, Halvad Taluk in Morbi District, cultivating 5 acres of groundnut, things took a challenging turn.

Four of his five acres were devastated by a black fungal disease, causing visible wilting, yellowing, drying leaves, and root rot. The poor plant health led to significant crop loss.

Jaga Bhai had watched a video on Tag Soil Helth and was keen to save his plot. After consulting a local dealer from Tropical Agro, he purchased Tag Soil Helth, a patented product uniquely formulated with organic manure, beneficial microbes, amino acids, nitrogen-fixing bacteria, and phosphate-solubilizing fertilizer. This solution promised to restore soil texture and structure while providing essential nutrients for crop recovery.

With a skeptical mindset, Jaga Bhai decided to apply Tag Soil Helth to his damaged crop. Within just five days, the transformation was remarkable. The treated section saw the yellowing of leaves vanish, and healthier, fungus-free roots began to develop. The crop flourished with new vitality.

However, he noticed that the acre where he hadn’t applied the product now showed signs of damage, with nearly 50% of the healthy plants becoming infected. Realizing his mistake of not treating the entire field, Jaga Bhai returned to the dealer to purchase more Tag Soil Helth and treated the remaining farm.

Energized by his newfound success, Jaga Bhai’s farm became a symbol of resilience and innovation. His story spread throughout the region, inspiring other farmers to explore innovative agricultural solutions. With the help of Tropical Agro’s Tag Soil Helth, Jaga Bhai not only revived his groundnut farm but also harvested a premium-quality crop, securing top prices in the market.

His journey stands as a testament to the power of perseverance and the importance of innovative farming practices.
