GANDHINAGAR, GUJARAT | 27th JUNE 2026 | At a time when much of today’s generation is often associated with social media trends, nightlife, and digital distractions, a group of young leaders is working to create spaces where conversations matter, ideas are challenged, and leadership is built through meaningful dialogue. With this vision, The Diplomacy Series MUN 2026 successfully brought together students, aspiring diplomats, future policymakers, and young changemakers from across the country for a day of engaging committee sessions, debates, and policy-driven discussions.
Founded by Harsh Vyas and Hemang Bhatt, Co-Founders of Roots & Stories Media, and led by Nidhi Bhadra, Conference President of The Diplomacy Series MUN and Education Events & Strategic Partnerships Lead at Roots & Stories Media, the initiative aims to encourage young people to think critically, engage responsibly, and develop a deeper understanding of national and international affairs.
Throughout the event, delegates participated in committee discussions focusing on some of the most relevant issues of the modern world, including global security, international relations, climate diplomacy, artificial intelligence, economic cooperation, governance, constitutional matters, and sustainable development. The sessions witnessed thought-provoking debates, policy negotiations, resolution drafting, and collaborative problem-solving exercises that challenged participants to think beyond conventional viewpoints.
Speaking about the vision behind the initiative, Harsh Vyas, Co-Founder, Roots & Stories Media, said, “We believe that every generation needs platforms where ideas can be discussed freely and respectfully. The Diplomacy Series was created to help young people move beyond surface-level conversations and develop the ability to understand complex issues that impact society.”
Hemang Bhatt, Co-Founder, Roots & Stories Media, added, “The leaders of tomorrow must learn how to communicate, negotiate, and collaborate effectively. Through committee discussions and debates, participants learn that leadership is not about winning arguments but about building solutions.”
Sharing her thoughts, Nidhi Bhadra, Conference President, The Diplomacy Series MUN and Education Events & Strategic Partnerships Lead, Roots & Stories Media, said, “Every committee session is an opportunity for learning and growth. We want participants to leave with greater confidence, stronger perspectives, and the motivation to become responsible leaders who can contribute positively to their communities and the nation.”
The organizers believe that initiatives like The Diplomacy Series are essential in nurturing a generation that values informed dialogue, civic engagement, and responsible leadership. By bringing together diverse perspectives under one platform, the event continues to inspire young minds to transform conversations into action and ideas into meaningful impact.
