Sony LIV’s Bada Naam Karenge Cast Unveiled: Jameel Khan and Deepika Amin Join the Family

Gujarat, Ahmedabad 21st January 2025: Love, family, and the powerful connections that bind us together are at the heart of Bada Naam Karenge, Rajshri Productions’ much-anticipated digital debut. The show, set against the backdrop of Ratlam and Ujjain, is all set to debut on February 7th, exclusively on Sony LIV. The series promises an emotional, inspiring journey filled with heartfelt moments, humor, and the kind of genuine connections that resonate deeply with viewers. With a fresh take on family dynamics, and relationships, Bada Naam Karenge will remind viewers of the strength found in love, the importance of family bonds, and the power of following your heart.

The show not only explores the evolving romance between Rishabh (Ritik Ghanshani) and Surbhi (Ayesha Kaduskar) but also delves into the loving and complex dynamics of the Gupta family Surbhi’s parents, Lalit Gupta (Jameel Khan), often referred to as the “Father of OTT” for his memorable portrayal of a father in the critically acclaimed show Gullak, and Madhu Gupta (Deepika Amin), celebrated for her dynamic performances over a decade-long career, play pivotal roles. Together, they guide and support the journey as they face life’s challenges.

Jameel Khan portrays Lalit Gupta, a calm and progressive father who firmly believes in empowering his daughter, Surbhi, to make her own decisions. He said, “Lalit takes pride in his progressive, liberal, supportive, and respectful upbringing. He gives immense importance to good and wholesome education and upbringing, for a healthy family and society at large.”

Deepika Amin brings to life Madhu Gupta, Surbhi’s loving yet protective mother. She said, “The show beautifully reflects our strong bond with traditions, emphasizing the importance of family. It aims to convey that same sense of connection to the audience. I’m thrilled to be a part of it, portraying the key role of Surbhi’s mother, a woman who seeks to balance the family by being firm yet caring.
