GUJARAT, AHMEDABAD | 30th DECEMBER 2025 — The Rotary Club of Ahmedabad Skyline has created history by becoming the first Rotary club in Gujarat to cross 400 members, achieving an extraordinary milestone in Rotary’s global journey. With over 435 active members, the club has now proudly secured its place among the Top 10 Rotary Clubs in the world, out of more than 45,000 Rotary clubs globally.
What makes this achievement truly remarkable is the timeframe in which it has been accomplished. While most Rotary clubs across the world take several decades — and often over a century — to reach such numbers, the Rotary Club of Ahmedabad Skyline has achieved this historic feat in just three years since its charter.
A Record-Breaking Growth Journey
Rotary Club of Ahmedabad Skyline has consistently set benchmarks in membership growth:

- ✅ First club in Gujarat to cross 400 members
- ✅ Now ranked among the Top 10 Rotary Clubs globally
This unprecedented growth reflects the club’s strong leadership, vibrant culture, impactful service projects, and an inclusive approach that attracts professionals, entrepreneurs, and community leaders from across the city.
Chartered Day Celebration with Arabian Nights Grandeur
The historic milestone was celebrated during the club’s Chartered Day Celebration, hosted with an elegant Arabian Nights theme. The evening reflected the club’s spirit of excellence, fellowship, and celebration.
The event was conceptualised by Rtn. Rekha Kabra and executed seamlessly by Rtn. Shyamal Divetia, with strong support from Project Chair Rtn. Hemlata Chaudhary. Guests were welcomed with traditional Arabian coffee and dates, adding cultural richness to the celebration.
With over 250 members and guests in attendance, the evening became a vibrant symbol of Skyline’s unity and growth.

The club also welcomed its incoming leadership for the year 2026–27:

Charter Handover & Expansion
A major highlight of the evening was the Charter Handover Ceremony of:
- Rotary Club of Ahmedabad Skyline – Jupiter Chapter
- Rotary Club of Ahmedabad Skyline – Patron Chapter
The charters were formally handed over by District Governor Rtn. Nigam Chaudhury, marking another milestone in Skyline’s expansion journey.
