Morari Bapu’s Katha a Message of National Unity: Yogi Adityanath

Prayagraj 20th January 2025: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has lauded renowned spiritual leader and Ramcharitmanas exponent Morari Bapu’s ongoing Ramkatha at Prayagraj as a significant milestone of unity and harmony.

The Manas Mahakumbh katha at Prayagraj, which is also presently hosting the Maha Kumbh, is seeing an overwhelming gathering of devotees and was graced by the presence of the Uttar Pradesh CM on Sunday.

Welcoming Yogi Adityanath, Morari Bapu said, “Though you have a very ancient and sacred seat (Sanatan Peeth) in Gorakhpur, today let this seat extend you a warm welcome to my Vyas Peeth.”

Commending the UP CM, the revered spiritual leader said, “The work being done as a saint and the various efforts in your region are recognised across the nation. Among these, the smooth organisation of this grand Kumbh Mela is something we cannot adequately praise.”

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, while addressing the gathering, expressed his gratitude for being part of such a sacred occasion.

“It is my good fortune to be a part of this holy event, the Vyas Peeth of revered Morari Bapu, and meet all of you. The message of this katha should be a message of national unity. Whether North or South, East or West, this message of unity should bind us all together with the vision of an undivided India,” he said.

Yogi Adityanath also spoke about his long-standing association with Morari Bapu’s discourses.

“One thing I observe in every discourse is something new, something unique. Every katha is endless, as are the narratives of the Infinite. Yet, with his divine words, Bapu imparts wisdom to the devotees, instils devotion in their hearts and enriches their spirits,” he said.

Speaking about the ongoing Maha Kumbh at Prayagraj, the UP CM said, “Before coming here, I undertook an aerial tour of the Kumbh. All the ghats are filled with devotees. With great reverence, people chant ‘Har Har Gange’ while taking dips in the holy waters. Truly, this is a divine vision of India, which delivers a message of unity beyond the bounds of caste and creed. The unity of Prayagraj is itself a guiding light for the creation of a united India,” he said.

Reflecting on the sacredness of Prayagraj, the Chief Minister highlighted its confluence of the holy rivers Ganga, Yamuna and the mystical Saraswati, and its significance in Indian cultural and spiritual history. He urged the participants to carry the blessings of the Triveni back and dedicate their lives to the vision of a united nation.

The Manas Mahakumbh is Morari Bapu’s 950th katha and marks a significant milestone in his spiritual journey of more than six decades. His timeless messages of truth, love and compassion resonate deeply with crores of people worldwide.
