Voices of Harvest Awards is a unique platform celebrating the contributions of India’s farming community, launched by PepsiCo India under its Partnership of Progress philosophy
GUJARAT, AHMEDABAD | 10th DECEMBER 2025 — An inspiring farmer from Rajkot, Gujarat, Nita Kanani, was recognized for her exceptional contributions to the agriculture sector at PepsiCo India’s Voices of Harvest Conference and Awards 2025 in New Delhi. Nita Kanani received the RevolutioNari in Farming Award for her outstanding work in cultivating indigenous crops and Biochar Farm Residue.
Guided by its Partnership of Progress philosophy, PepsiCo India hosted the second edition of the Voices of Harvest Awards 2025 to celebrate individuals driving sustainable transformation in Indian agriculture. Ten farmers from across the country were recognized for their leadership, innovation, and community impact. They were selected after a rigorous evaluation by an external jury of agricultural experts.
Nita Kanani was felicitated by the Chief Guest, Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Hon’ble Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Government of India. Addressing the gathering, he said, “For us, farmers are not just annadata, but jeevandata, the very source of our nation’s strength. Under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, we are committed to ensuring food security, raising productivity, improving soil health, and securing farmers’ income. Our mission is clear: to make India the food basket of the world while preserving our land for future generations. Serving our farmers is, and will always remain, our greatest form of service to the nation.”
