Wise says that You are the creator of your own destiny, and the lead antagonist of the much-anticipated Tanaav 2, Gaurav Arora, has proved it right. Gaurav’s journey into this pivotal role is not just a testament to his talent but also to the power of belief and manifestation. From the moment he first encountered the intensity and raw energy of the critically acclaimed, original Israeli series Fauda, and how this gripping narrative translated in Tanaav Season 1, something within him ignited. Spellbound as a viewer, he manifested himself in the world of Tanaav. Little did he know that this admiration and deep connection would eventually bag him the lead antagonist in season 2 of the official Indian remake, Tanaav.
“Watching the first season of Tanaav and the original series Fauda, I was completely drawn in from the first frame. There was something magnetic about the stories, the characters, and the relentless pace of the narrative. I found myself not just watching but envisioning myself in that universe. I would often imagine playing a role, being part of such a gripping and intense series. It’s surreal to now be a part of its adaptation,” says Arora, reflecting on how his passion and visualization turned into reality. He steps into the shoes of the antagonist as Mir Saab’s son, Fareed aka Al-Damishq, bringing to life a character that is complex and compelling at the same time.
