Ahmedabad, Gujarat 07 October 2024 – For the first time ever, India will witness a spectacular ICE show, ‘Scheherazade’,directed and produced by the renowned Russian figure skater and Olympic champion, Tatiana Navka. This breathtaking performance to be held at the EKA Arenain Ahmedabad between 18th -20th October 2024, will feature an international cast of world-class figure skaters, including multiple champions from Russia and Europe.
The event is made possible with the support of Rosneft Oil Company, and it is seen as a symbol of the growing cultural and sports collaboration between India and Russia under the “Strategic Partnership Programme until 2030.”
Inspired by the timeless Arabian tales of “One Thousand and One Nights,” the show brings a magical love story to life through enchanting choreography, stunning music, and cutting-edge special effects. With a vast expanse of ice being used to create a mesmerizing visual experience, audiences will be transported to fantastical realms representing Eastern cultures like India, Egypt, Ancient Babylon, and Persia.
The star-studded cast includes Olympic and world champions such as Tatiana Navka, Victoria Sinitsina, Nikita Katsalapov, Povilas Vanagas, Ivan Righini, and Egor Murashov, among others. The show’s combination of Eastern storytelling and modern technology makes this performance a truly one-of-a-kind experience for Indian audiences.
