Ahmedabad 09 September 2024: In today’s rapidly evolving digital world, cybersecurity has become a critical concern for individuals and businesses alike. To address these growing threats, CREDAI Women’s Wing Ahmedabad is organising an exclusive session titled “Protect Yourself From Cyber Scams” on September 10.
Renowned cybersecurity scholar Kaushik Pandya will address the session and provide valuable insights into the latest cybersecurity scams and practical tips to safeguard against them.
Nikita Shah, City Convenor of CREDAI Women’s Wing Ahmedabad, said, “In today’s digital age, the importance of safeguarding oneself against cyber scams cannot be overstated. Cyber scams are very real and no one is safe from them. Staying safe online is crucial. The upcoming session is aimed to equip our members with the knowledge and tools they need to protect themselves from digital fraud.”
Participants learn how to manage passwords effectively, identify and avoid phishing, social media, and Google search scams, determine if a link is safe and secure themselves on public WiFi, check if their passwords have been compromised, and take immediate action if they have fallen victim to a scam.
Nupur Patel, joint honorary treasurer of CREDAI Women’s Wing Ahmedabad, said, “Mr. Kaushik Pandya is an eminent expert in cybersecurity and has spoken at events across the country. His insights and practical tips will help participants to learn a lot about cybersecurity and how to safeguard against digital threats.”
The session is particularly aimed at teens and senior citizens, who are among the most vulnerable to cyber scams, but CREDAI Women’s Wing encourages all members to attend and benefit from it. The session will also provide a platform for networking and making new connections.
