GUJARAT, AHMEDABAD | 28th NOVEMBER 2025 — The Indian Institute of Materials Management (IIMM), Ahmedabad Branch, will host NATCOM 2025 on November 29 and 30 as part of its golden jubilee celebrations. The national conference, themed “Sustainable Supply Chain – A Pathway to Net Zero Carbon Footprint,” will bring together leading voices from industry, academia, and government to discuss the future of responsible and resilient supply chain management.
The conference will feature discussions on ESG integration, sustainable food systems, and the growing role of emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence, the Internet of Things, Blockchain, and Big Data, in transforming supply chain operations. Senior leaders from manufacturing, power, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, information technology, and other sectors are participating in the conference.
Lalit Raj Meena, National President of the Indian Institute of Materials Management, said, “The conference comes at a critical time for global supply chains. Across two days, NATCOM 2025 will offer keynote sessions, panel discussions, and knowledge-sharing forums led by supply chain professionals. Key themes include ESG integration and ethical governance, renewable energy transition and decarbonisation pathways, resource efficiency and circular-economy practices, sustainable food systems and net-zero logistics, ethical sourcing and human-centric supply chains, and technology-driven transformation.
Delegates will also benefit from studies and demonstrations of new approaches to decarbonisation across the supply chain spectrum. It will highlight emissions along the entire journey, from source materials to the finished product reaching the customer, and showcase solutions that drive measurable improvements.

Meenal Goswamy, Vice Chairman Natcom welcomed all delegates and guests on the eve of this event. Lalbhai Patel Director IFPSM emphasised the need for the involvement of everyone to achieve environmental sustainability. Malay Majumdar, former National President as well as Rajesh Kumar Rastogi NST gave several examples of net carbon challenges.
Dr. Jayanta Chakraborty, Chairman NATCOM 2025 added “Sustainability is the key factor for depleting Carbon foot print.” He said India is in the transition phase as a developed country and Supply Chain is the biggest stake holder for Sustainability and diminishing CO2.
Distinguished member DK Goswamy expressed his pleasure for the fact that Natcom is taking place in Ahmedabad for the first time.
Ms Binal Darji, National Counsellor from Rajkot Branch emphasized the need for the sustainability in the SCM.
Pankaj Panchbhai, Vice President West gave a detailed account of the need for conducting such events to create awareness amongst all segments.
